crab cream cheese quesadillas
This recipe can go down as one of the simplest crowd-pleasing appetizers - and one that gives off the facade of a fancy snack. You just need mini flatbreads/tortillas, real crab and cream cheese. That’s it. I almost felt it did not constitute a dedicated page under my ‘snacks and shareables’ recipes, but figured that seeing the visual of these babies is a reminder of how perfect they are to whip up and impress your friends and family with.
INGREDIENTS
Flatbreads/tortillas (I used 5” flatbreads from Cali’Flour Foods)
Real crab
Cream cheese
INSTRUCTIONS:
If you are using the Cali’Flour Foods flatbreads, preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Meanwhile, mix together your crab meat and cream cheese (with a ratio of 2:1 with the crab being the ‘2’ in that ratio). Once the flatbreads are baked, let them cool for a couple minutes and spread the crab-cream cheese mix on one side of each flatbread. Fold each of the flatbreads over to make quesadillas. Put them back in the oven for another 5 minutes, and serve.
