lime tahini crispy brussel sprouts
Whenever “crispy” brussel sprouts are on the menu I am most definitely going to order them. But, the caveat - they have to be crispy. Like, extra crispy. If I see them on another table and they don’t look crisp to perfection or if I look into the soul of my waiter or waitress and can sense they really want to tell me that the brussel sprouts are just “okay,” then I will pass. Being disappointed by less-than crispy brussel sprouts is the worst. In my own kitchen, the air fryer will never let me down in creating the most perfectly crispy brussel sprouts. And, I think I discovered my new favorite way to make and eat them with this recipe for LIME TAHINI CRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS.
Ingredients:
½ lb brussel sprouts
1 lime, juiced
Tahini
Avocado oil
Sea Salt
Pepper
Instructions:
Mix the lime juice, 2 tbsp tahini, sea salt and pepper. Set aside. Meanwhile, trim the bottoms of the brussel sprouts, slice in half, toss in a bowl and coat with avocado oil. Then, coat with the lime tahini dressing. Add in chopped garlic to the bowl. Add all of it to your air fryer and cook for 20 minutes at 400 degrees, tossing at 10 minutes and again at 15 minutes. To finish, drizzle with more tahini.
