s'more style-uber low sugar chocolate chip cookies

My Uber Low Sugar Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe is one I am damn proud of because it really does blow my mind that there is only 1 tbsp of added sugar in the recipe and totally curbs my sweet tooth. The OG recipe is definitely for peanut butter lovers, and if you are a fan of s’mores, this s’more-inspired twist on my Uber Low Sugar Chocolate Chip Cookie will win your heart over.

INGREDIENTS:

  • ¼ cup peanut butter

  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce

  • 2/3 cup oat flour

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • chocolate chips

  • toppings: graham crackers, mini marshmallows and chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix the dry ingredients (oat flour and baking powder) and wet ingredients (peanut butter, unsweetened apple sauce and honey) separately. Then, add together. Fold in chocolate chips. Roll into 7 balls and put them in the freezer to firm up for 20 minutes. Press down flat gently with a fork. Top with more chocolate chips, mini marshmallows and crushed up graham cracker pieces. Bake for 10 minutes.
