Chocolate Dough-NUTS
This recipe was intended to be chocolate cookie dough balls, but because foods with holes are so much more fun - I quickly turned them into chocolate doughNUTS. They’re super easy to make, require no baking, are gluten-free and if you go with the chocolate I recommend - they are vegan!
Ingredients:
½ cup cashew butter
¼ cup coconut flour
1 tbsp cocoa powder (I used HiiT Nutrition’s Jet Black Cocoa Powder)
3 tbsp maple syrup
½ tsp sea salt
1 cup chocolate chips (plus coconut oil for melting)
Endangered Species NEW Oat Milk Chocolate
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix the cashew butter, coconut flour, cocoa powder, maple syrup and sea salt. Then, roll into 8 little balls, flatten and poke a hole through the middle to make the shape of a mini doughNUT. Put the mini doughNUTS in the freezer for about 20 minutes, to harden. Meawhile, melt 1 cup of chocolate chips with coconut oil and after the doughNUTS have been in the freezer for 20 minutes, dip each of them into the melted chocolate. Immediately after, sprinkle with chopped up Endangered Species NEW Oat Milk Chocolate. Store in the freezer - but I recommend letting thaw for 5-10 minutes before enjoying.
