The Deck
As soon as you walk down the stairs to get to this restaurant your face is going to turn into that emoji with the heart eyes. It is one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen, and it continues make me feel all the feels every time I come here. With that said, everyone feels that way and that is why it is so popular, so expect to wait (if you don’t have a reservation). The bar is small, but there are pockets of standing room, so grab a drink and enjoy the view while you wait. Once you do get a table and you are hungry as hell, go for the seared yellowfin tuna starter with napa cabbage, julienne carrots, daikon sprouts, watermelon radish, miso-ginger vinaigrette. As for entrées, my favorite is the Laguna cioppino, if you are looking for something hearty. It has mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops and daily fish in a tomato-saffron broth. This is definitely my favorite spot in Laguna Beach if I am looking for both a great view AND great food.
